About

I have worked in international development for more than 20 years delivering impact-driven interventions in support of quality            vocational education, skills development and responsible business conduct. My experience spans the public and private sectors in the      design, implementation and evaluation of research, policy and direct service delivery projects ranging in value from USD 3 million to      USD 23 million. I have led international, cross-functional teams in Europe, South America, Oceania, Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast      Asia, in particular Myanmar. I am fluent in English, Polish, Spanish, French and Italian with working knowledge of Burmese. In addition     to work, I am pursuing an Executive MBA at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford focusing on business purpose – an        idea that looks beyond the balance sheet to a broader and deeper role for business in society.

  • Directed business development, e.g. negotiate and structure collaborative partnerships that pool financial and inkind
    resources in support of interventions in textile production, agriculture and infrastructure maintenance;
  • Established and maintained structures and instruments for monitoring and results measurement including
    guidelines on data collection and impact story telling (theory of change, KPIs, impact metrics);
  • Maintained effective working relationships with the Swiss Development Cooperation, diplomatic missions, UN
    agencies and private sector associations and chambers of commerce and civil society representatives;
  • Developed relationships with international and Myanmar companies on inclusive work-based training;
  • Assure that the VSDP is well prepared for all external and internal audits and reviews, including by the media.
